Graduate Programs

According to its mission, the University accepts qualified students without distinction of nationality, race, gender, religion, political beliefs, social condition or physical aptitudes. The University accepts new students for quarter programs in January, May and September (14-week terms).

For admission to the quarter starting January 15, 2024 you need to accomplish the following process:

Interview with the coordinator of graduate program.

To enroll to any graduate program, you need to have a interview with the corresponding Coordinator, who will inform you of the stages of the process and assess:

  • Your academic background, which should be consitend with the enrollment profile established for each program.
  • You professional expericence and area of interest.
  • Your professional project, seeking to establish the congruence of this, with the disciplines and research line of the program.

 

As a result of this stage, the Coordinator of the program will give you a letter with any of the following results:

  • Accepted
  • Admission denied

 Registration.

In the Deparment of Promotion and Admission, you must present the Letter of Acceptance, fill out and application for admission, met payment for the General Knowledge Test and will know the dates an times of application:

  • General Knowledge Test (EXANI III). Administered by the National Center for Evaluation in Higher Education (CENEVAL). This test is used as an aid in decision making for the admission process to graduate programs. It provides information about the necessary skills in the following fields: analytical and mathematical thinking, language structure, reading comprehension in Spanish, project methodology and reading comprehension and grammar structure in English.

Three weeks later the Deparment Promotion and Admission will announced the results.

Enrollment

On Juanuary 8 to 12, 2024 go to the Registrar´s Office for the completition of your enrollment process, with the following documents:

  • Acceptance Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • Full Education Certificate
  • Copy of ID card
  • Copy of Degree
  • Copy of Professional License
  • Copy of CURP (Population Registry)

The Registrar´s Office will give you the schedule and you will be able to go to the Credit and Payment Department where you will receive a payment calendar and a full budget,  in order to made the corresponding payment and finally you can request your student ID.

Transient Students 

A transient student is a student who wishes to have credits transferred to another university abroad. This student will not be awarded any degree and won´t be able to take more than 30 credits from a graduate program.

 

 

Students From other Universities 

Students from other institutions of higher education will be admitted if they comply with the addmission requirements.
